In this day and age you think it would be easy to get the medical advice you need for any condition or illness you may have. Unfortunately this is not always the case and people can be left feeling ill because they’re not getting the right treatment, if any.

If you suffer from low thyroid, you may think you’re simply suffering from a bad cold or the flu due to the main symptoms (Sensitivity to the cold, aching joints and fatigue.
It’s all too common for a doctor to diagnose you with this as well, which is why the medical advice you’re given may not be correct.
It’s only after the symptoms have got worse and you start to experience a wide range of other symptoms too, that doctors will begin to explore other avenues. The only way you’re likely to know you have low thyroid problems in the early stages is if a close family member suffers from them too and they recognize the symptoms in you.
Medical advice can be great and it can be life-saving if you’re given the help and medication you need, but as you can probably imagine, this is not always the case for someone who suffers from low thyroid.
Speaking To Others
Speaking to people who are going through the same thing as you may help you to build your self-esteem and feel a lot better about the situation. You may also get a few ideas as to how you can deal with your condition in a way that makes you feel normal again.
Knowing that you’re not alone can make a huge difference to the way you feel about having low thyroid and how you deal with it on a day to day basis.

It may take a few months for you to be given the right medication as not every tablet or pill works well for everyone, but the sooner you start, the sooner you’ll feel better once more.
